Los Tumbados is,. The sound of the times. After much trial and tribulation, the band of Tekolotes (night owls) out of the northeast part of Los Angeles is back to their original beginnings as a live instrument group. After two albums that were created mostly with programmed beat compositions (Tekolotes, and Things Change. 213 was recorded live) the group began to pick up the instruments more and more. With a new ensemble, yet keeping the same Los Tumbados street feel.
John “ Drums” Castro is on percussions, Chris “Steiner” Avalos brother to original member “Phaser” is on lead guitar and Adrian”Tapicero” Tapia is on bass guitar and lead vocals. With a fresh team and a fresh pile of songs Los Tumbados are embarking on there new project entitled “ Dia De Los Vivos” going back to the energy of their live instrumentals behind vocals that cut through the smoke screens in the air.
